What are your opening hours?
Open daily 17:00–24:00 (last order 23:30). We do not serve lunch. Closed irregularly, about one day a month.
Do you have a regular closing day?
We close irregularly, about one day a month. Please call us (0749-63-6688) before visiting.
Can I make a reservation?
Yes. Especially on weekends and busy hours, we recommend booking by phone or online booking.
Can I book on the same day?
Subject to availability. Please call us (0749-63-6688) for same-day reservations. Banquet courses require booking by 23:00 two days ahead; only the Uomaru Standard Course (11 dishes, ¥5,500) can be booked until 15:00 on the day.
How many people can I book for?
From small groups to large banquets. Banquet courses are for 2–50 guests (the Omi beef sukiyaki course is for 2–8), private rooms seat 4–26, and full-venue bookings are for 50–64. Please tell us your party size and date by phone.
Can I book a large banquet?
Yes. We have 90 seats in total: eight banquet courses with 2 hours of free-flow drinks for 2–50 guests, private rooms for 4–26, and full-venue bookings for 50–64. Please inquire.
Do you serve lunch?
We are open for dinner only, from 17:00 every day. We do not serve lunch.
Can I cancel a reservation?
For changes or cancellations, please call us (0749-63-6688) as early as possible.
Can I book the whole venue?
Yes — full-venue bookings are for 50–64 guests, out of 90 seats in total. Please call us (0749-63-6688) to discuss dates and party size.
Can I reserve or inquire online?
Yes, you can book online from the Reserve button on our official site. We also take reservations by phone.

What do you recommend?
Straw-grilled bonito from Kochi, straw-grilled Omi beef, and fresh sashimi from the port. Seasonal robatayaki is also popular.
What is your signature dish?
Straw-grilling done right before you, and fresh fish from the port. Enjoy the aroma and the flavor of the ingredients.
What is straw-grilled bonito?
Fresh bonito from Kochi, grilled dynamically over straw before you. Aromatic with concentrated flavor. Medium (approx. 2 servings) ¥1,490 (tax incl. ¥1,639).
Do you serve Omi beef?
Yes, straw-grilled Shiga-brand Omi beef (¥1,690, tax incl. ¥1,859). Enjoy its aroma and natural richness.
Do you have sashimi / fresh fish?
We serve fresh sashimi from the port. Our five-kind sashimi platter (¥1,290, tax incl. ¥1,419) and more; content varies daily.
Do you have course menus?
Yes. We offer eight banquet courses, each with 2 hours of free-flow drinks, from ¥5,500 (tax incl.) — including Omi beef charcoal-grill and sukiyaki, and the alfonsino & clam hot pot. See the course page for details.
Do you have seasonal dishes?
We offer seasonal robatayaki of vegetables and seafood over charcoal. Content changes with the season — please ask in store.
What à la carte dishes do you have?
Shrimp cream spring rolls, our legendary shrimp mayo, dashi-rolled omelette, fried chicken, robata-grilled thick tofu and more.
Can you accommodate allergies?
Please inform our staff of any allergies in advance when booking or on arrival. We will do our best within possible limits.
Can vegetarians dine here?
Our focus is seafood and meat, but we also have grilled vegetables. Please consult our staff about dietary needs in advance.

How many kinds of sake do you have?
Our selected sake list runs to ten labels, four of them Shiga brews — Daijiro (Hata Brewery), Kirakucho (Kita Brewery), Kazuhiro (Nakazawa Brewery) and Shichihonyari (Tomita Brewery). Pours are guinomi 100ml from ¥490 (tax incl. ¥539), 1 go 180ml from ¥850 (¥935) and 2 go 360ml from ¥1,600 (¥1,760).
Do you have local Shiga sake?
Yes — four of our ten labels are Shiga brews: Daijiro (junmai, Hata Brewery), Kirakucho (junmai ginjo, Kita Brewery), Kazuhiro (junmai, Nakazawa Brewery) and Shichihonyari (junmai, Tomita Brewery in Kinomoto, Nagahama).
Do you offer free-flow drinks?
All eight banquet courses (from ¥5,500, tax incl.) come with 2 hours of free-flow drinks. For à la carte free-flow, please ask in store.
Do you have drinks other than sake?
Yes. Craft sours such as our Uomaru lemon sour, the Nagahama Highball made with Amahagan whisky from Shiga's Nagahama Distillery (¥890, tax incl. ¥979), Kaku Highball (¥550 / ¥605), shochu (barley and sweet potato), fruit liqueurs, and beer (Premium Malts or Sapporo Akaboshi medium bottle ¥640 / ¥704). Mega servings of about double size (700ml) are also available.
Do you have non-alcoholic drinks?
Alongside the non-alcoholic beer All-Free (¥540, tax incl. ¥594), we serve pressed apple, peach and rich mandarin juices (¥590 / ¥649), teas, ginger ale, cola and lemon squash (¥390 / ¥429), and Setouchi lemonade and Calpis Water (¥450 / ¥495).
Can I compare different sake?
Our staff will suggest sake to match your taste and dishes. Feel free to ask about a tasting flight.
Can you pick sake to match my food?
Yes, our staff will recommend sake considering the pairing with your dishes. Please share your preferences.

Do you have private rooms?
Yes, we have private rooms for 4–26 guests — ideal for meals, banquets and private occasions.

Yes, we have lively counter seats where solo guests can enjoy the cooking right before them.
Can I come with children?
Families are welcome. The 90 seats are split — smoking on the first floor, non-smoking on the second — so please tell us your seating preference when you book.

Can I use it for business dining?
Yes, with private rooms and a calm atmosphere, we suit business entertaining and dining. Please mention it when booking.

Yes. With 90 seats in total, banquet courses take 2–50 guests, full-venue bookings 50–64, and private rooms 4–26. Please reserve in advance so we can arrange seating.

Cash, major credit cards and QR code payments (PayPay) are accepted. E-money is not accepted.
Is there a service charge?
A 5% service charge applies. It is waived when you order a course menu.

VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX and Diners are accepted.
Do you accept QR code payments or e-money?
QR code payments are accepted via PayPay. E-money is not currently accepted.
Can I take out food?
